What is a subscription box?

Simply put, a subscription box is a regularly mailed box containing full size and sample items for you to try.  There are boxes for almost anything you can imagine, from socks to snacks.  There are also boxes specifically crafted for men and women, as well as babies, toddlers, and kids.

Can I choose my items in my subscription box?

Usually not.  Most boxes contain a sampling of different items that are chosen for you.  One of the main reasons for trying a subscription box is to find new and interesting items you normally wouldn’t buy.  For this reason you are unable to chose which items you receive in your box, with a few exceptions.

How do I find the best subscription box for me or someone else?

That’s where we come in!  You can browse our website by category for the best boxes based on your interests and preferences.  For example,  if you enjoy trying new organic snacks we offer a few organic snack subscription boxes to fit your needs.  Browse our site by category in the top menu to find the perfect box for yourself or someone else.

How much does a subscription box cost?

This varies greatly depending on the items.  Some food subscription boxes are less than $10/mo while clothing subscription boxes like Trunk Club are $200/month.  There is usually a discount if you sign up for multiple months.

How often are boxes sent out?

Most subscription boxes are monthly, but there are a few quarterly and seasonal boxes.  A few are even sent out every two weeks, or bi-monthly.

Can I give a subscription box as a gift?

Yes!  Almost all companies we have reviewed have an option to send the box as a gift to someone else.  They make a perfect gift for someone who is difficult to buy for or just ends up returning all of your presents.

Thanks for the information! Very helpful. But the word you really want to use is “choose”, not “chose.”
